Haunted History FAQ

General

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: Every Friday and Saturday in October 2024. Doors open at 7:00pm and close at 10:30pm. Last entry is at 10:00pm.

 

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are located at The Square, 196 Wool Street, Folsom, CA 95630.

Q: Are bags allowed?

A: Yes, but only small purses or handbags are allowed, no medium to large bags or backpacks are allowed past the entrance. There will be bins available to store your belongings.

 

Q: Is the event handicap accessible?

A: Yes.

​

Q: Will the event be cancelled for bad weather?

A: A cancellation notice will be sent out if severe weather occurs. Tickets will not be refunded but can be used anytime until the end of the month. If the final day of the attraction is cancelled, tickets will be refunded at that time.

 

Q: Is there an age minimum for the haunted attraction?

A: Yes, children 12 years of age and younger must arrive with an adult. This event is recommended for 13 years and older.

Q: Who will be supported by me attending Haunted History? 

A: Admissions and purchases will benefit the Folsom History 301(c)3 non-profit organization to further their mission, collection, and programming efforts. Thank you for your support!

Tickets​

Q: Where can I get tickets?

A: Purchase tickets here. If you purchase at the door, you will be directed to our website to purchase from your handheld devices.  

 

Q: What is the refund policy?

A: There are no refunds or exchanges allowed at this event unless severe weather occurs on the last night of the attraction.

 

Q: Do I need to print my ticket?

A: No, we will have a list of pre-paid guest names at the door. Please give the entrance volunteers your first and last name for the primary party member.

Q: When I go to buy a ticket, it says registration is closed. Does that mean you're sold out? 

A: That means we are sold on for that specific date and time slot. Please scroll down below the photo and click "Select Different Date". You can view all our dates and time slots. Those that are sold out will be marked and those with pricing will still have dates available. 

​

Q: I was able to start purchasing tickets but then it didn't go through. What's wrong? 

A: We have a set number of tickets for each time slot. You may be purchasing tickets that would put the ticket count above the threshold. 

​

Q: Can I get a refund if you really scare me?

A: Sorry, there are no refunds. Think of it as a one-way street. There is only one way out.

Inside the Attraction

Q: Can I take pictures or videos?

A: Sorry, we can’t allow that. If we catch you breaking this rule, you will be asked to stop. If you take pictures or videos a 2nd time, you will be asked to leave the premises.

 

Q: Can I touch the haunters or set props?

A: Absolutely not. If we catch you breaking this rule, you will be escorted off the premises.

 

Q: Will the haunters touch me?

A: Never.

 

Q:  Is food or drink allowed?

A: No food or drink is allowed in the haunted attraction.

 

Q: If I’m scared, can I run away?

A: No, running is not permitted in our haunt.

Q: Am I allowed to wear a costume?

A: Yes. Costumes are permitted, except for masks, oversized costumes and handheld items such as plastic (or real) weapons.
